Simple Installation Locate Studs Use a stud finder to check if there are studs behind the drywall. If you find studs, mark their locations—screwing directly into studs provides the most support. Measure & Mark Placement Use a tape measure and level to determine the desired position of the shelf. Install Anchors if No Studs Are Present Drill a hole slightly smaller than the anchor’s size, then insert the anchor until flush with the wall. Mount the Shelf Place the shelf into it's location and secure it with screws. Use a level to ensure it is even.
