I used these brackets to mount a narrow table on the wall of my laundry room to fold laundry on...the laundry room is small, so being able to fold the table down and save space is essential.PROS- These folding brackets are as easy to install as any I've seen...you can't get much simpler. They lock in place securely, feel sturdy, and fold down with a press of the levers. Best price I've seen for this product.CONS- Other reviews complain that the included wall anchors are bad...I used steel locking anchors (available @ hardware stores) that I had left over from another project instead. As a rule of thumb, spend a few dollars extra on good anchors; the included ones didn't seem terrible, but if you're wanting the brackets to hold serious weight, invest in quality anchors, or drill into the wallstuds and avoid anchors altogether. In general, the plastic anchors included with hardware are like the paper floormats that come with a new car...throw them out and get real ones.Other Thoughts- These brackets are quality products at a great price...I would buy them again if the need arose. As always, use a level when hanging shelving so your surface doesn't turn out crooked.The brackets are well design and the 24” works perfect for the piece of wood that is now my desk. My only complaint is the hardware provided. The WHITE wall molly(s), roughly 3-4 inches are horribly designed. They are smooth 3/4 of its length. Resulting in way too much play, and does not hug the brackets to the wall. I don’t know who has that thick of drywall and would need these. And if you were drilling into wood studs, you wouldn’t use the molly anyway. I suggest using your own hardware. I used threaded wall mollies and thick screws. I would definitely buy again or a smaller size in the future, if needed, and continue using my own hardware. Obviously, I’m not going to lay, sit or perform an autopsy to test the weight maximum, but it definitely holds my laptop and is a perfect drawing table.Used brackets to make a folding table for a laundry room.Works fantastic. Would highly recommend especially for the bargain price.I was looking for a pair of 20” brackets to put a 35 lb piece of wood on the wall as a addition to the desk. I liked the idea of these folding brackets to store it when not in use. It was easy to install(i used my own screws, the ones that come with are garbage and brake easily) after installed I noticed that it wouldn't hold this piece in place. Not sure where they got this claim that can hold 300 lb. in the end i had to add an extra bracket to keep my desk in place. It worked for me cause i did not really need the folding option, but if you do this won’t work. Is not strong enough for anything over 15-20lb without falling 7-10 degrees. At 35 lb weight it broke a screw right in the middle.1 OF THE BRACKETS DID NOT LOCK IN PLACE ,NO QUALTY CONTROL OF THERE MERCHANDISE OR IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PACKAGED. THIRD DAY SINCE I EMAILED THEM ABOUT IT AND NO ONE HAS REPLIED. MORE THE REASON NOT TO BUY THIS COMPANIES PRODUCTS.MIMOREHad both installed in less then 5 mins. Great sturdy surface for doing food prep next to the grill.The hardware that comes it with does not work. unless you have 2" thick drywall or more the hardware will never tighten up. On the super odd rarity that you have 2" mounting surface, the screw will never reach the end of the insert to retract it open. Expect to buy different hardware if you purchase this mount.Used this for a mini folding desk in a bedroom, and one of the brackets bent to an unusable degree within the first two weeks of it being used for light deskwork. I wouldn't get these if you intend on using them for a small desk... Since you're probably thinking about using them for a small desk, save yourself the time and don't do it.
