I have large cats and struggle to find furniture that suits their weight and rambunctious play time. This furniture is worth every penny! My cats love it and the plants give it a nice aesthetic. I will warn you though, if you are a luddite like me, drilling into steel studs was a bit daunting! But if you ask, they will provide you with metal screws and drill bits as opposed to wood. You definitely need studs because this furniture is heavy. If your studs are inconsistent like mine, you can break this set up into pieces and put it into multiple places (you don't have to do the design on the manual). I also suggest buying some cheap wall anchors for parts that have to go through dry wall (for instance my studs are inconsistent with spacing so a few holes had to go through dry wall). With part stud/part dry wall installation, this furniture still holds my 2 17 pound cats at the same time without damage!Must have for multi cat families. It really does get my cats put of hiding.
