This product is cute but you absolutely cannot assemble it by yourself. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, screws into anything else. The shelves sit on the metal brackets so you have to have multiple hands to hold it and then have someone measure the holes on the wall. You then screw the metal braces to the wall one by one and then sit the wooden shelf on the braces. The metal rod for the mug hangers doesn't even screw into the screws so you can't brace the metal together at all. If you're a strong independent woman who don't need no man don't buy this shelf, unless you have 6 arms. This was a pain to hang. It’s really a two person job which seems odd for its size until you see it in pieces out of the box. However, once it was up it looks really good and is serving its purpose which for me was to hold and display my son’s cap collection.I found this fairly easy to install. You do need a power drill, hammer, level (included) and a pencil. I found the easier way to this is to have someone help you put it together, without the screws, and hold it where you would like to place it. While the other person holds it, I used the level to make sure it was straight and filled in the holes where the anchors will go on the wall with pencil. Put down the metal bars. I then took a shelf and held it up horizontally so it connected the top left and right pencil marks. After using my level to make sure it was straight I lightly drew a line. Repeat with bottom two pencil marks. I used the shelf to make sure the top and bottom marks were even and straight as well. After this I used a 5/32 drill bit and made holes where the holes were marked. Then using the anchors provided, gently tap the anchors into the wall until flush. Then I held up one bar and loosely screwed in the screw into the left top anchor. You can let the bar go once it’s screwed in a little bit and loosely screw in the bottom one. After this I took my drill and drilled in both screws completely. Repeat with other bar. After that the only thing left is the hanging bar. I found it easiest to screw in one side fully then holding bar in place while screwing in last side screw and tightening with hex tool provided. Then lay shelves and hooks on bars. Took about 25 minutes because I used my level a lot to make sure they were even.Overall: good quality, (fairly) easy installation, feels very secure, and bonus it is very cute. I use mine as a spice rack currently and the hook holds mugs and utensils.I could not wait for this to arrive, I thought it would look so cute on my coffee bar! First of all, the picture is WILDLY misleading, you absolutely cannot put all of that stuff on this shelf, let alone just a frying man. The shelves themselves are 24" wide and maybe 5" in depth, not much can fit. It can be tricky to install just because it requires measuring and math, but we had it up in about 30 minutes. My issues are with the cheap drywall anchors they gave, doesn't support the shelf all that well. it moves if you try to wiggle it, just not quite up to par. The screws just hold the bar on, versus screwing into it and giving some stability for the hooks to hang on. We cannot put our coffee mugs on the bar because the weight bares down and causes the bar to bend slightly, which pulls away from the sides and hooks. It's frustrating, we are going to try to find something different to hang the cups from and remove the bar all together or let it sit there for no reason. Just think about it before buying.Product is ok and works in my space. It shows 6 cup hooks online and also in their instructions but I received only 4. I’ve already mounted on the wall so I guess I’ll need to buy some other hooks separately. Quality control issue.I love the look of this and will definitely be showing it off to my friends when we are able to socialize again. As long as you have a drill and a second person to hold it the install is a breeze. The shelves don't screw onto the unit and neither does the rod that holds cups. Someone has to hold the unit level while the other makes marks for the drill holes. The screws that hold the rod in place were short, luckily I had longer ones at home so I didn't have to buy them. Now the rod is very sturdy. We're considering using glue for the shelves so they don't move.Cute Basic Shelf BUT MISSING HOOKS! Defeated the purpose for my kitchen. It would be nice if the seller would send the missing hooks so I can hang coffee mugs.Looks cute. Read the measurements so I knew what size it would be and no problems there. Came on time as it was supposed to. Docked a star because it did not have two long flat head screws that it was supposed to (came with 4 very short ones that would not work for the bottom bar). I had to find some that would work rather than send the whole thing back and hope to get what I needed.
