Whether you prefer the weathered character of the reclaimed woods or the sleek look of the modern styles, Urban Legacy would love to work with you to fulfill your shelving needs. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Urban Legacy Barn Wood Shelves Chunky Rustic Industrial - Amish Handcrafted in Lancaster County, PA Sturdy, durable, and high-quality: that is how our customers describe these Chunky Shelves. Each shelf is about 3" thick, providing ample surface area to show off the unique weathering and construction marks of the reclaimed barn wood. Depending on how the wood was used (most of these Chunky Shelves used to be barn rafters), the distribution of saw cuts and nails holes varies. Plus, each shelf features its own natural woodgrain pattern. Urban Legacy Chunky Shelves come in two sizes: 24" long and 40" long. You can choose two of the same size, or you can mix and match to get one 24" and one 40" shelf. The choices don't stop there - we also offer three finishes: Natural (never stained), White Washed, or Coffee Bean stain. Lastly, select floating brackets for a modern look or our Amish-made steel brackets if you desire a more industrial feel. The floating brackets come with drywall anchors for increased stability. If you choose full brackets, they must be mounted into wall studs to ensure the shelves' weight capacities. Each 24" shelf holds 10-12 lbs and each 40" shelf will support 18-20 lbs when mounted properly. Urban Legacy Modern Hardwood Deep Shelves Urban Legacy's low profile Maple shelves display the beauty and elegance of modern hardwood decor. These shelves are some of the deepest shelves we produce at a staggering 11 inches! The deeper design makes low profile steel brackets necessary, but the brackets can only be seen from under the shelf, creating a floating look from other angles. The increased depth makes these shelves wonderful storage spaces for dishes and other large items. Urban Legacy Floating Shelves Reclaimed floating accent shelves are where our journey with shelving began, and they are a product we have perfected over the years! The wood for these shelves is reclaimed from barn rafters, and is most commonly poplar hardwood, as this was the preference for barn construction at that time. You have the option of keeping their Natural look, including the saw cuts, nail holes, and weathering marks, or you can select White Washed or Coffee Bean stains. Urban Legacy Rustic Brown Shelves The aesthetic of Chunky Wide Plank Shelves is similar to that of the Chunky Shelves, but they do have some differences. The Chunky Wide Plank model is a bit thinner at 2.5", and slightly deeper, available in 9" or 10". There are three choices for length: 24", 36", or 48". Once again, you can choose between full or floating-style brackets. These shelves have a Rustic Brown stain applied to them, in recognition of the wood's origins as barn flooring planks. You can select floating brackets for a modern look. These floating brackets come complete with drywall anchors, providing enhanced support and peace of mind. You'll find 2 notches on the back of the wooden shelves for wall brackets to attach to the brackets on the shelf.
